I'm a U.S. traveler, first time in Africa. A friend recommended Mahogany Lodge. Excellent staff, friendly and helpful front desk, housekeeping was terrific, meals and the restaurant, too. The swimming pool is relaxing and the courtyard is serene -- a good place to read or to have a meeting with one of two others. Our driver to and from the airport was friendly and informative. The hotel is close to a tro tro stp, so all of Accra is at your feet.
